Machines made to measure

Bespoke machines

For tasks that no off-the-shelf machine can handle: we design, engineer and build systems, fixtures and steelwork for the chemical industry, mechanical engineering and other industries.

  • Concept, design engineering and manufacturing in-house
  • Welded to EN 1090-2 up to EXC2
  • Installation and service at your site

How your system takes shape

Five steps, all of which take place under our own roof. You have the same contact person throughout.

  1. 01
Inquiry and requirementsWe clarify the task, the environment and the goals. A sketch is enough to get started.
  2. 02
System conceptLayout, operating principle and cost-effectiveness, before the first line is drawn.
  3. 03
Design engineeringIn a 3D model, designed for manufacturing and maintenance, with drawings and bills of materials.
  4. 04
Prototype and manufacturingIn our own facility, with certified welding to EN 1090.
  5. 05
Installation, commissioning and serviceAt your site. And we are still there for you years later.

Two steps that pay off

Most of the cost of a system is decided before the first sheet of metal is cut.

System concept

Before anything is built, the concept has to be right. We plan systems to fit into your workflow, with an eye on space, operation, maintenance and costs over their entire service life.

Prototype building

The design becomes a working prototype that can be tested under real conditions. This lets us spot improvements before the system goes into series production or continuous operation.

Two areas in detail

Drum lifter: yellow gripping ring with spreader beam and tensioning chain

Drum lifter

Safe lifting of open fiber and steel drums by crane or forklift. CE-marked to DIN EN 13155, also available in special sizes.

Steelwork

Stairs, platforms and frames, welded to EN 1090 up to EXC2. In structural steel and stainless steel, made to fit your hall precisely.

Further services

Tasks that regularly come our way, even though they do not have a page of their own.

Conveyor technology

Construction and maintenance of conveyor systems, transport systems and chain links. For former Hemscheidt conveyor systems, we manufacture spare parts to the original drawings – the microfilm archive is kept here at our premises.

Containers and special containers

Made-to-measure containers for special applications, from workshop containers to custom solutions.

Large fans and ventilators

Design engineering and manufacturing of large fans for industrial applications.

Filtration housings and solutions

Housings and assemblies for filter systems, designed and built in-house.

What you can rely on

Tell us about your task.

A sketch, a photo or a few sentences are enough to get started. We will get back to you with an initial assessment of whether and how it can be built.

Frequently asked questions about bespoke machines

From what quantity is a bespoke machine worthwhile?

From a single unit. We build one-off machines just as we build small series – we have no minimum quantity.

Whether building one pays off is not decided by how many machines are built, but by what the machine saves you: manual steps, lead time, scrap, or a job that nobody can repeat reliably by hand.
