Since 1996, we have been developing and building machinery and systems in Sprockhövel. Today we are a family business in its third generation.
At AKS, every product is made in-house: developed, designed and manufactured across 1,600 m² in Sprockhövel. Our customers value our reliability, our solution-oriented thinking and our readiness to help when it matters.
Together with Coa Air Solutions GmbH, an affiliated company, and our partners, we bring more than 30 specialists to the table. Our systems are in use worldwide.

Reiner Wegemann founded AKS GmbH. Thomas Wegemann was involved from the very beginning and later took over as Managing Director. Since then, we have been developing and building machinery and systems for industry, with more than 2,000 projects completed to date.
2010
Move to our current site at Am Rennebaum 11: design engineering, manufacturing and assembly under one roof.
With Tobias Wegemann, the third generation is on board. In the same year, founder Reiner Wegemann stepped down as Managing Director; he remains actively involved as an authorized signatory (Prokurist). Tobias Wegemann and Phillip Ernesti have also held Prokura (general commercial power of attorney) since 2024.
